CARBON POWER TURN

cpt CARBON POWER TURN

Carbon strip inserts around the binding plate area underneath the wood core. Carbon fibers running lengthwise are tensioned during the initiation phase of the turn and release during the finish of the turn, effectively creating an extra explosive acceleration.

BENEFIT
• Stronger accelerations

RACING SIDEWALLS BLACK

RSB RACING SIDEWALLS BLACK

Phenol sidewalls with a harder resin, which leads to greater stability and a more direct power transfer

BENEFIT
• Fast, direct power transfer for nimble transitions

RACE BASE

RBA RACE BASE

Base with increased carbon black which lends even better glide

BENEFIT
• Increased glide in all ski conditions

FLEX TORSION CONTROL

FTC FLEX TORSION CONTROL

Special cut-outs both crosswise and lengthwise ensure the ski front and back is softer when it comes to flex and torsion. In this way the ski can on the one hand flex more easily which makes steering into turns easier. On the other hand one can always maintain control of the ski in transitions since the ski’s torsion remains adaptable.

BENEFIT
• Improved control when changing directions
• Simple turn initiation
• Agility in the turn

EDGES

SOLID METAL EDGE

cpt SOLID METAL EDGE

Stockli has started incorporating wider edges in all of its ski models. This not only extends the lifetime of the ski, but it also pays dividends for ski rental services, where the material is subject to particularly harsh use. In addition, the exceptionally robust materials and a clever design protect the ski surface against scratches and damage.

BENEFIT
• Longer ski lifespan
• More edge sharpening possible over the lifetime of the ski

SOLID METAL EDGE LIGHT

SME SOLID METAL EDGE LIGHT

The same edge thickness as the SME. The edge is notas thickly built into the ski and is pressed differently.

BENEFIT
• Weight reduction
• Longer life cycle than traditional edges

TOURING SUPER LIGHT EDGE

TSLE TOURING SUPER LIGHT EDGE

These special edges for touring skis are not as wide or as high as traditional alpine edges.

BENEFIT
• Weight savings (up to 25 % lighter than SME light)

RACING EDGE

RE RACING EDGE

Special cut of the steel edges for best racing performance

BENEFIT
• Increased acceleration out of the turn
• Optimal edge grip

FEATURES

LIGHT CORE & SUPER LIGHT CORE

LC & SLC LIGHT CORE & SUPER LIGHT CORE

Special wood types are used for all-mountain, freeride, and touring models.

BENEFIT
• Reduced weight due to ultralight cores
• dynamic ski response
• very durable

FREERIDE TIP TECHNOLOGY

FTT FREERIDE TIP TECHNOLOGY

Lighter and more stable tip.

BENEFIT
• Better float, less swing weight and stable tip
• Less effort for improved comfort on all snow conditions

POLYWALL

PWA POLYWALL

These sidewalls are impressive due to their great impact resistance and cushioning characteristics.

BENEFIT
• Durability
• Great impact resistance
• Cushioning characteristics

THIN GLASS LAMINATE

TGL THIN GLASS LAMINATE

The Thin Glass Laminate is about 25 % lighter than traditional laminates

BENEFIT
• Saves weight without compromising rigidity

CARBON STEERING CONTROL

CSC CARBON STEERING CONTROL

CSC Technology was successfully used in the Alpine Skiing World Cup. The carbon laminate visibly recognizable in the window is glue-laminated as appropriate for each end point. In the flex line, the carbon laminate flexes ideally so that the ski loses none of its perfect tuning. On strong impacts, the carbon laminate comes under tension through its specialized glue laminate at the ends, which results in less flattening out on the snow.

BENEFIT
• Perfect control, even in difficult conditions

TURTLE SHELL

TS TURTLE SHELL

The cut-outs in the Titanal lend torsion neutrality and effortless skiing at a low speed on easy slopes. At higher tempos and rough slopes the Titanal cut-outs interlock. With these cut-outs, the ski is more stable, smoother, and thus lends more security.

BENEFIT
• Torsionally neutral and smooth at leisurely paces and on simple slopes
• Athletic and stable at higher tempos on rougher slopes.

TOURING TAIL

TT TOURING TAIL

Special milling at the tail for our touring skis.

BENEFIT
• Secure hold for touring skins
• Weight savings
• Smoother torsion at the tail

VARIO SIDE CUT

VCS VARIO SIDE CUT

The ski width is dependent on the length of the ski. The longer the ski, the wider it is and thus it also has more surface contact area. This creates better float and higher stability

CONSTRUCTION

SOFTFLEX

SF SOFTFLEX

Specially made for ladies’ skis: The adapted Flex curve provides comfortable and dynamic skiing pleasure.

BENEFIT
• Optimal ski shap
• Less effort for improved comfort
• Weight saving

SIZE OPTIMIZED CONSTRUCTION

socSIZE OPTIMIZED CONSTRUCTION

These models are engineered to be individually optimized for each length

BENEFIT
• Perfectly individualized engineering in every size
• Reduced weight in the smaller sizes

ROCKER

ROCKER ROCKER

The longer curvature of the shovel, called rocker technology, is specially adapted for each ski model.

BENEFIT
• better float in powder
• Less effort required
• easier to turn on pistes
• easier edging

FULL EDGE CONTACT

fec FULL EDGE CONTACT

The ski is wider at the tip

BENEFIT
• Easier and faster initiation of the turn
• enhanced grip in the turn thanks to a longer edge contact length

TAIL ROCKER

TR TAIL ROCKER

Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius

BENEFIT
• With the longer, extended rocker, the edge in contact with the snow is decreased, making the ski more playful
• The longer rocker enables optimum grip when edging

FREERIDE TAIL

FTAFREERIDE TAIL

Special tail on a ski. The use of a high-tech polymer combined with a new upward curve in the ski results in a ski that is not only a rocker model but is also lighter and softer. The ski is thus more playful and maneuverable on the snow.

BENEFIT
• Weight reduction
• Playful and maneuverable

BIG POWDER ROCKER

bprBIG POWDER ROCKER

Higher (20 mm) and longer (60 mm) upward curve as the current Stöckli Powder Rocker. Optimum, energy-saving float in deep powder which results in better control, lending the ski playful abilities.

BENEFIT
• Optimum float
• Energy-saving skiing in deep powder
• Better control

ADAPTIVE CONTACT LENGTH

acl ADAPTIVE CONTACT LENGTH

The greater the edge angle, the greater the amount of edge in contact with the snow, and that results in more grip and stability in turns. The playful feel remains without needing to forgo stability.

BENEFIT
• The greater the edge angle, the greater the stability and security
